Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Quorom ("we," "our," or "us"), a Slack application that helps hybrid teams coordinate office attendance. By installing or using Quorom, you agree to these Terms.
1. Using Quorom
Quorom is a Slack application. To use it, you must have a valid Slack workspace and the authority to install apps in that workspace, or permission from a workspace administrator to do so.
You agree to use Quorom only for its intended purpose — coordinating office attendance — and not in any way that violates applicable laws or Slack's own Terms of Service.
2. Your account and workspace
Quorom operates at the workspace level. By installing the app, the installing user represents that they have the authority to bind the workspace to these Terms. Individual users within the workspace are also bound by these Terms when they interact with Quorom.
3. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Use Quorom to monitor, track, or surveil individual employees beyond the aggregate signals the app is designed to provide.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract source code from Quorom.
- Use automated scripts or bots to interact with Quorom in a way that disrupts the service.
- Resell or sublicense access to Quorom without our written permission.
4. Data and privacy
Our collection and use of your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using Quorom, you agree to our data practices as described there.
5. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Quorom running reliably, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We'll make reasonable efforts to notify workspaces of significant changes.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any workspace that violates these Terms.
6. Intellectual property
Quorom and all content within it — including its design, code, and text — are owned by us. These Terms don't grant you any intellectual property rights beyond what's needed to use the service as intended.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
Quorom is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any particular result will be achieved from its use.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quorom and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service — even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Third-party services
Quorom integrates with Slack and, optionally, Google Calendar. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services or any issues arising from them.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll post a notice in your Slack workspace. Continued use of Quorom after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
